Video Conferencing and Collaboration Applications
The project will use conferencing and collaboration applications that provide quantifiable and qualitative benefits. Specifically, we will be using videoconferencing and associated collaboration tools that are far more than a simple replacement for travel. We believe that these collaboration media can provide enhanced ways of communicating and improved group efficiency. They will also enable communities to do more than just exchange information; they will provide an environment for productive interaction among assessment sites. Use of video conferencing and collaboration systems integrating voice, video and web access will enable indigenous communities to communicate anywhere, anytime, with local and remote colleagues, without leaving the their own sites. We believe that this will help to speed up decision making, boost innovation and will contribute directly to the bottom line of the assessment.
